I graduated from Heidelberg College in May 2004. I received a degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology. I was also inducted to Who's Who among American Colleges and University Students this year. My last semester of college I spent in DC through a special program called the Washington Semester. I hope to start a page shortly with more information about my time in DC. While in college, I joined Alpha Phi Omega(APO) and Psi Chi. Alpha Phi Omega is a service organization. My name for the group is Paddington (yes, like the bear). Psi Chi is the National Honor Society for Psychology. Before starting college, I attended Norwalk High School. I graduated in the year 2000 as an honor student.
My hope is to become a Child Advocate and fight for the rights of children. I have wanted to be a lawyer since I was in the 6th grade. So far, I am sticking to that goal. I have attended different programs that have helped me along the way. I went to the Junior Statesmen of America Summer School Program at Northwestern University, the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law in Washington, DC, and I attended Girls State. These programs helped reinforce my dream of becoming a lawyer. This past summer I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work in a law office in my hometown. It was a great learning experience.
