| - CANADIAN OWNED AND OPERATED! - Nice and quiet shopping environment (unlike Wal Mart's annyoing long lines and bussy stores) - Convenient locations (closer to home than Wal Mart's stores) - Great brands available only at Zellers including Mossimo, Waverly Decor, truly, Cherokee, HomeStyles, Gloria Vanderbilt, Delta Burke Designs, Wabasso, Request, Sportek, White-Westinghouse and Victory Gardens - New, large "Neighbourhood Market" grocery sections - Big, nice and clean stores - Wide assortment of merchandise - Prices that are the same or lower than Wal Mart's - Good customer service (like the new commercials say) - Lots of parking space |

| This site was created because I am sick and tired of hearing people making fun of and saying mean things about Zellers. Let's face it, if you're a true Canadian you'll shop at Zellers, cause no matter what Wal Mart says (like 80% of its goods are Canadian), it's still American owned and operated. Besides lots of the stuff Zellers sells is actually at a lower price than Wal Mart and you can find great customer service, so don't believe Wal-Mart's hype. Did you know? - When Wal Mart came to Canada in 19994 through its aquisition of Woolco it closed the seven unionized stores, which caused the elimination of 1,000 good Canadian jobs. In addition, Wal Mart also converted Woolco's garages to oil and lube centres and asked mechanics to take huge wage cuts and fired 500 well paid Woolco warehouse workers. What can you do? - You can help by telling all your loved ones and friends to shop at Zellers instead of Wal Mart. Tell them about this site and the other sites and give them the facts. - Write letters to your local newspapers praising Zellers - Organize blood donor clinics and food drives at your local Zellers - Shop at Kmart if you go shopping in the United States |
