All of these contrast with Kmart which has lots of ample parking, short checkout lines with employees who actually care about helping and serving you, and stores that are conveniently located in you local strip plazas, malls and other nearby areas.
You may have been driven away from Kmart by some of the problems it had before, but now it is a completely new company that cares about offering the best customer service around, well-stocked shelves and providing you with exceptional sales/promotions in addition to exculsive merchandise. Kmart is way better than Wal-Mart with brands like Martha Stewart Everyday, Disney, Joe Boxer and the soon to be released Thalia!
So if consumer choice and quality is important to you, you should shop at Kmart and never shop at Wal-Mart (enough people do) because the truth is competition is better for all of us, regardless of what others say. Some people think Wal-Mart is all the world needs and that Kmart won't really be missed but this is not true. Kmart provides employment for over 200,000 employees and it has more than 1,500 stores (156 million square feet of space) in the real estate market across America, so we all need Kmart badly. If Wal-Mart continues to dominate and kill other companies eventually they will rule the world and they will have high prices, obviously since they will be the only place to shop! |
