IN THE BEGINNING....

I am told that I was born in Columbus, OH, although I don't remember because I was just a baby.  ha ha.... corny I know, sorry.  I lived in southern Ohio in Piketon/Waverly area.  In 1976 our family moved back to Columbus for 4 years.  It was there in 1977 that I started my spiritual walk with the Lord at Valleyview Church of Christ in Christian Union.  Columbus is also where I met my best friend, Denise, who lived two doors down from my family in 1978 and would become a part of our family and a sister to me.  In 1980 my family moved back to southern Ohio where I completed high school at Western High and graduated from Vern Riffe Vocational School.

MATRIMONY....

It would be 4 years after high school that I met and married my true love, Tim Klinker, in 1990.  Tim had lived in Waverly all his life, and I had lived in the area most of my life, but we had never met.  We actually had a close family connection.  My dad's sister was married to his mom's brother, so we both had the same aunt and uncle.... pretty neat.  However, I would like to point out that we are not related in any way.  Even though we lived in Pike County, we didn't subscribe to the "I'm my own Grandpa" philosophy.  :-)

MUSICALLY SPEAKING....

I was exposed to music at a very young age, well I guess you could say I was just born into it.  It was on both sides of my family.  My grandfather,
Ernest Leeth, started our musical family line on the Leeth side, and on the Lambert side, nearly all of my aunts and uncles were musically inclined.  My mom and dad both were musical, and my brother could play anything with strings, as well as sing and write. I started singing in my family's group when I was 9.  (For my musical biography, click here.) Music was a huge part of my life; singing, writing, and playing piano (and also in that order).

MOVING ON....

In 2001 me and Tim followed God's call to move to Columbus, OH and to step out of the music scene at New Covenant Church of Christ in Christian Union, where we had served for 8 years.  Although we weren't sure why he wanted us in Columbus, nevertheless we went, and we're still here almost 4 years later!  We're looking forward to what God has in store for the future.  It's all in his hands.
