Course Description:
The course Arts and Humanities includes study of dance, drama, music, and visual arts in discipline based and historical contexts.

Course Goal
:  The goal of this course is to give students knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the arts in culture.

Course Requirements: In order for the student to be successful in this course, he/she must meet the following expectations:
                participate in class
                keep a notebook/folder
                participate in all activities
                complete all assignments

Criteria included for evaluation and Determination of Grade: A points based average of all grades on assignments; quizzes, tests, and classroom participation comprise 90% of the student grade.  Comprehensive Exams (midterm test and final test) will make up the remaining 10% of the final grade for each semester



Academic Expectations: Students MUST have a credit in Arts and Humanities in order to graduate from North Bullitt High School.  Each student is expected to do his/her best on all assignments.
