About Me

My ego needs a place to play, as if this whole site wasn’t an ego trip. The history of me goes like this: I was born in Des Moines, Iowa. I moved with my family to Arizona when I was three. When I was 6, my family moved to North Phoenix, and I still live there today. In between, I have lived in a dorm in Tempe, where I currently am a junior at Arizona State University. I’m majoring in the public relations arm of the Journalism and Mass Communication B.A. with professional status in the Cronkite School, and I study geography on the side. I plan to either minor or get a B.S. in geography. My geographic areas of interest are urban and hazard planning and Geographic Information Systems. Plus I’m a huge fan of Las Vegas and Seattle.

Some cool defining moments in my life? I recently ventured to Salt Lake City for somewhat uncommon foot surgery called a calcaneal lengthening.

I went northward again to have my leg casts removed, and along the way my family and I made a short jaunt to Yellowstone-Grand Teton National Parks. The parks are absolutely breathtaking - everyone should go once in their life. As you can see, I define my life in many ways by where I am or have been. I can’t be the only one. Place is important.
