Animating a Pump


  1. FINITE ADJUSTMENTS OF PIN & SHAFT (cont'd)
      NOTE:
      If needed, realignment of the Shaft can be achieved by activating the Shaft and clicking the align button align at the Piston's edge in the 'Top View Port' and activating the menu and set parameters, as shown below and click OK.

    1. animation Turn on the animation button.
    2. timeslider1 Set the Time Slider to 1/100.
    3. NOTE: Use the same principals as shown in section 2 1-4.
      alignfront14pump Select the rotate icon and restrict rotation to Y-axes.
    4. In the 'Perspective View' carefully place your cursor on the CamPoint and nudge it gently up or down to make the 1st. set of objects rotate and align the Shaft with the Pin, while observing the movements in the 'Front View Port', at right.
    5. Also in the 'Perspective View' carefully place your cursor on the Gear and nudge it gently up and down to make the 2nd. set of objects rotate and align the Pin with the Shaft, while observing the movements in the 'Front View Port' to make the changes shown.
