Jesus Thinks you're the Greatest!!!
Hi Kids!
Did you know that in God's eyes you are the greatest?
Let us read this scripture together and explain
Matthew 18
Verses 1 and 2
At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus , saying , who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven ?
And Jesus called a little child unto him , and set him in the midst of them.
Jesus used a child .. just like you as an example to everyone how that we can all be great in God's eyes if we become more like you!...let us read on a little further and we will try to explain.
Verses 3 and 4
And said, Verily I say unto you , Except ye be converted,and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven.
What was Jesus saying?
He was telling his disciples that they must be converted meaning changed and must come to Jesus just as a child.... think about this... When you want something you go to an adult and ask, sometimes when you want something so badly you will plead with all your heart, you are sincere in your feelings and not ashamed to ask .
This is what Jesus is trying to teach his disciples and to all of us today in his word. To be able to get into heaven , no matter what our age is we must come to Jesus and with all our heart , We must seek him to supply our needs whatever they may be. He hears us when we come to him in this way.

Matthew 18 verse 10 warns people to be Kind to little children
Jesus said
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in Heaven their Angels do always behold the face of my father which is in Heaven.

Our Creation Station question for today...
We are taught that in the beginning God made Heaven and Earth. Everything natural that you see around you was created by The Lord - it did not just happen but is the creation of God.
The first thing we read of in Chapter one that was created was the light. What was this light? You might think it was the sun or the moon or the stars right? ...but wait The light and darkness was seperated and the sun and this happened on the first day ..but..in the 14th verse ..and on the fourth day was the great lights, the sun and moon and stars created.. so what could this light have been that was created on the first day? Could it have been Jesus the son of God. The Light of the world? That is what I believe that light was.
What does the word say in John chapter one?
John 1 KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Jesus is the light of the world
When he knew he was going to leave this world he told us to be the light of the world and to let our light shine for him.
The bible says
Matt 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Matt 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Matt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Be a light for Jesus!
