Lord of all creation

God made the world in six days! Below is listed the things that God created and the day he created them.

Day 1 ) God made light and dark

Day 2) God made the waters and the sky.

Day 3) God made dry land and plants

Day 4) God made the sun , moon and stars.

Day 5) God created the fish and the birds

Day 6) God made animals and man.

Day 7) God rested!

Consider for just a moment the sky and the universe. How all the stars stay up in space in their proper place to give light upon the earth.

In our universe all of the planets are spaced apart just as they need to be . If we were any closer to the sun for instance we could not have life here on Earth. If we were any farther away we could not survive because it would be too cold for anything to grow.

God created everything perfect in the beginning. Just thinking of our great universe alone and how God made life possible here is just awesome! Now consider all the things you see around you !

The flowers and plants and trees! God gave them every thing necessary for survival. He sends the rain and the sun . He made a world full of beautiful flowers.. thousands of different plant and flowers and numerous different types of trees with different leaves! He made the wind that comes along on a summer day just to cool us off!

Isn't God just amazing! He created the fruits and vegetables to have seed so that more fruits could come from them! He creates beautiful painted sunsets sometimes that are so beautiful!

Yet he still has time to give us our every breath and our every heart beat. He still hears our smallest prayers . God loves his creation . But he loves you as his most favorite creation!

Think of all the different types of birds now and the animals! Wow! He made the giraffe so tall and the turtle so slow! He made puppies and kittens for us to love and animals to help us work such as horses and oxen and mules. He created animals that were good for food and that could provide milk for us to drink.

God thought of everything! Not anything happened by chance or by a big bang as some scientist want you to believe . God created all things and all things he created were good and very good! God was happy and pleased with what he had done!

God is so creative .. he created mountains and deserts, Jungles and frozen arctic wilderness, he created oceans and sandy beaches with fish and marine life .. wow! So many different kinds . Our God is a big creative and artistic God isnt he?

God created air for us to breathe! Without oxygen we could not breathe. He created gravity on Earth so we would not just float away . Astronomers have never found a planet where live could exist as it does here on Earth. This shows the divine creative hand of God!

God is a busy God . No one knows how many different galaxies exist , some scientists estimate there may be 100 billion! Wow What a big and creative and very busy God .. but what amazes me so much is that he has never been too busy for me. He always hears me when I pray. When I feel alone he comforts me . I can talk to him about anything and at any time of the day , he is always awake. So many people on Earth and we all have our own problems but he cares for each one of us!

We will learn in the next weeks how God created us perfect in the beginning but when man disobeyed God we were no longer perfect. Man knew right from wrong and sin entered the world . Because of this sin man was separated from God and a way had to be made for man once again to become back in close fellowship with his God. What I am most thankful for is that God created his son Jesus. He created a savior for us . Someone who would willingly come to be a pure sacrifice for sin so that we could be saved . So that we could once again be back in fellowship with God . I believe Jesus was that light God created first , the light he separated from the darkness. I know it was christ he spoke to when he said " Let us make man in our own image".

I am glad that God loved us this much . It is hard for our minds to comprehend such a great love .. yet our God loved us so much that even after his creation disobeyed him he made a way that all men could come back to him . That way is through Jesus. We will try to explain this a little more in our next lessons.

In genesis Chapter two and verse 7 it says that God formed man out of dust. Dust is not even dirt is it? It does not have as much substance as dirt yet God took that and created us from it but what made man a living soul was that God breathed his own breath into Adam! I am amazed at that thought! God made man a living soul.

Wow! Think of all the things God has done and has created just for us! He is Lord of all creation!
