Some of My Favorite Resorts

Blue Mountain, PA

When we open for the 2006-07 season, skiers and boarders will be treated to a new high speed detachable Six Pack Lift that has replaced the Challenge Chair. We are the first ski area in the Poconos to have one. We are also cutting a new trail between Paradise and Razor’s Edge and will have it completed for the ’07-’08 season. Other new features at our mountain include a 2,400 foot addition to the Valley Lodge that will offer more seating and a larger parking lot. We’ve widened the upper portion of Sidewinder Park and have installed new snowmaking there and on nearby Tut’s Lane. We have also purchased a new Piston Bully Park Groomer so we can continue to take care of what we feel is most important, a mountain with terrain for all abilities and groomed with the largest grooming fleet in the area.
