| 2/23/04 Since our last episode , Miss Kimmie has once again become a single woman! Our saga contrinues... Do men ever grow up? I mean, seriously! Bill is 45 years old! But does he break up with me in a normal, adult way? No! He tries to blow me off because he can't afford a girlfriend right now - emotionally or financially. When I refuse to put up with that BS, he says "everything is okay", that he acted immature, etc. And then proceeds to blow me off AGAIN. At the worst possible time, too, but that is a whole other story that I won't get into. My point is: At 45 (almost 46) shouldn't a man be above such junior high behavior? I mean, even Paul had the balls to break up with me in person! And Bill felt nothing but contempt for Paul - well, it looks like I know who the better man is! I really should stay single for a while. I have my eye on someone (who I have had my eye on for a l-o-n-g time...if something should develop there, I will go for it - otherwise, count me out!). Is Bill being an immature prick? Or was his behavior acceptable for someone 30 years out of junior high school? What is the secret that Miss Kimmie is keeping - and will it come back to haunt her in the future [Miss Kimmie interjects: MYOB!]. And just who is this man that Miss Kimmie has had her eye on for a "l-o-n-g time"? Will he soon play a part in our ongoing adventures? To find out, tune in to the next exciting episode of As the Tummy Turns! |

| 03/01/04 Since our last episode , much has happened to turn Miss Kimmie's tummy... Ugh...my tummy has been turning because I have been sick...'nuff said! However, it has helped me commit to my goal of staying single! Bill keeps acting weird - one minute he acts like we haven't even broken up and that he plans on getting together with me for dinner this weekend ("I haven't opened my Valentine's Day gift from you yet because I want to open it when we are together". I mean, how does that sound?); the next he is not returning my calls. It's like he is two different people. I don't play head games, I don't need head games! I never get involved with men as quickly or as deeply as I got involved with him...and I have learned my lesson not to do that ever again! It's like my friend Mike said to me, "You're a good girl". I AM a "good girl", and I'd like to live up to that reputation. In other news, the author of that atrocious website (see Episode 5) e-mailed me, and it seems Paul has been saying not so nice things about me behind my back! I'm a "little f-----"? This from a man who...no, I won't go there. One of us has to be the mature one here. And what kind of skeeve would actually answer an Internet ad like that? I guess I now have my answer. Paul, I thought better of you! Okay, so we've covered Bill...Paul...oh, yes - Bahij! How could I forget that sexy scooer star! (Actually, he's a ref!) Moving on...which I have, Bahij :-) I will be splitting my time between Friday's and Twin Oaks this Friday night to get maximum social time in this weekend...because I have decided I am going to stay in this Saturday night! Really...it is either that or go see Paul's band play. Which is the lesser of the two evils? Ooh! Speaking of evil, that reminds me - my friend Allison wants to set me up with her friend Mike, a 33-yo grad student at URI. Not that Allison is evil, but blind dates can be! I said okay, even though I swore off Mike's - and men whose names begin with "M" - years ago, due to bad karma. Who knows? It could be fun! At the very least, it is a night out with friends! What is going on with Kimmie and Bill? Are they truly over? Or has their relationship just hit a snag? What is with Paul saying mean things about our heroine - to a complete stranger, no less? Is this "friend Mike" someone who will be playing a bigger role in our saga? And will Miss Kimmie really stay single? And for how long? Or will her friends convince her to take another chance on love - maybe with this blind date man named Mike? Express your opinions, and tune in to the next exciting episode of As the Tummy Turns! |
