Since our last episode, Miss Kimmie has realized she enjoys spending time with her new friend Bill...much to the interest of her ex-boyfriend, Bahij...but why?

Wow...I have a jealous streak I didn't realize I had...I totally embarassed myself by getting catty when I saw Bill talking and rubbing the shoulder of another woman...in all fairness to me, it was after he forgot to call me, and I was feeling a little bit dissed...even if we haven't had the whole "commitment" talk yet.  It turns out they were just being friendly - she didn't even remember his name!  I sometimes forget he is still new to the area, and needs to make new friends.  But do they have to be cute Italian women who wear low rise pants that accentuate their slim hips and perfect butts?

So moving on, my ex-boyfriend Bahij (the guy before Paul) called to tell me he eagerly awaits the next installment of
As the Tummy Turns.  I know he is very, very busy - too busy for a social life - but I think it is time he gets a girlfriend.  (Sorry, B!  But it's true!  And I am taken!)

I also ran into my old friend Mike, at TGI Friday's on Thursday night...it was nice to see him.  We always had the best conversations, although no one believes me when I say that is the reason I look forward to seeing him.  Okay, so he's cute, and he's Irish - that doesn't mean he can't hold up his end of an intelligent conversation!  Even if he is drinking!  I really like Bill, and hope things work out between us...

Will Miss Kimmie be able to control her uncharacteristic jealousy
[Kimmie interjects: Now that I know it exists - yes!] Does Bahij really just have no life - or is his interest in Miss Kimmie's love life more than innocent?  Can an Irishman really hold up his end of an intelligent conversation whilst drinking - or is Miss Kimmie just making excuses? [I so am not!  Who writes this pulp?  Oh, yeah...I do!] Let your thoughts be known, and tune in to the next episode of As the Tummy Turns!

Since our last episode, Miss Kimmie has stared dating Bill...and made ammends with her ex-boyfriend, Paul...

I have never been one to kiss and tell, and I am not about to start! I will say, however, that I am glad that Paul showed up at TGI Friday's the night I met Bill - had he not, I would never have realized just how over him I am!  He also apologized for upseting me that night - said he didn't know I would be there, and had "had a few" before he even noticed I was there...so I feel better about that.  I really hate leaving things on bad footing, and he can be a very good friend when  I need one.

So, onto what everyone really wants to know!  Bill and I have been meeting for dinner this past week, and (drum roll, please!) He comes with references!  We went to Capriccio, and one of my old co-workers from Cafe Nuovo (Capriccio's sister restaurant) is now the maitre di there - and he told me I was with a good man!  Aren't I a lucky Kimmie?  Meanwhile, I am eating well...we went ot Federal Hill last night, and split an antipasto - it was to die for!  The salami was out of this world, and I hate salami (it looked like Italian ham in the low lighting) so that's  how amazing it was!  Lucky for me, I am on Atkins and can eat stuff like that...Sorry this update is so mundane...I guess happiness does that!

Is Miss Kimmie indeed a "lucky Kimmie"?  Or will her fear of commitment rear it's ugly head
[Kimmie interjects: I am not afraid of commitment!  I'm just afraid of commiting to the wrong person!] Will Miss Kimmie blow her diet by dining out too often? Let your thoughts be known, and tune in for the scintilating results on the next episode of As the Tummy Turns!
