LEAVING YOU

Randy Dix
Leaving you will be so hard
I know that we will be scarred.
Through the years we have grown up
Now we are about to split up.
It hurts me inside
To know that you will confide
In someone else who isn't me
But they will never be what I try to be.
I'll always be there for you
And I'll always stay true.
You are a part of me
That everyone will see.

You are my sister and friend
And we'll be that way until the end.
Don't ever let anyone take my place
Because they will never face
All the times that we've shared
Even when we never really cared.
All our memories will be locked up tight
Even all our stupid fights.
The laughs, the tears, the cries, the fears
Have built up through the years.
I'll never let us be apart
And you will always remain in my heart.

STAY THE SAME

Kristi Widner
As time has changed and seasons have past
We've developed a bond that will forever last.

As we say good-bye in this our final year
We try to hold back those overpowering tears.

We remember those time that seem so long ago
As we grew up together through highs and lows.

We knew this day would eventually be here
But had no idea of its overwhelming fear.

The years have flown by but the memories remain
These faces and names will always stay the same.

So as you go out into this world unknown
Always remember there's no place like home.

Missing You

Katrina Noelle Hilliard

As I look down the hall,
And I see your face,
I know that in my heart,
Something is out of place.

Day after day goes by,
But the pain never goes away,
Our anguish the price of a crime,
A price too high to pay.

It is unbearable to see,
Your unhappy days,
Your tear brimmed eyes,
Filled with pain for me,
When I used to be able to help you,
In so many ways.

I know our friendship,
Is forbidden,
But I still miss you,
It does not ease,
My heavy heart,
A burden.

I hope you miss me,
As much as I miss you.
But there's a wall between us,
And it seems there's nothing we can do.

My heart is torn,
Please try to understand,
I want to be there for you,
But I cannot be
A shoulder to cry on
A comforting hand.

But I beg of you,
Please listen to me,
No matter what obstacles,
Are in the way,
I am always here for thee.

A Friend Most True

Wendy Hinson 04.03.99

I need to know if you're my true friend,
will you be by my side until the end?
Can I tell you my secrets deep,
and trust them in your heart you'll keep?
We are neither of us without our flaws,
can you accept mine as I will yours?
I'll be a shoulder to cry on when you're blue,
will you be there for me when I need you?
No matter how busy I will make time for you,
if you are busy will you make time for me too?
I will take your hand and comfort your tears,

will you hold me and soothe my fears?
I will give you joy and many warm smiles,
can we share that even across many miles?
I will not forget what's important to you,
will you remember what's important to me too?
With you my most favourite things I'll share,
If only I know do you truly care?
If you can accept me as I do you,
then I will know you are a friend most true.

The Best of Friends

Jill Wolf, sent by Wendy Hinson The best of friends,
Can change a frown,
Into a smile,
when you feel down.

The best of friends,
Will understand,
Your little trials,
And lend a hand.

The best of friends,
Will always share,
Your secret dreams,
Because they care.

The best of friends,
Worth more than gold,
Give all the love,
A heart can hold.

My Sister's own Poems

A Smile

A gloomy day and rain was pouring,
When I heard a gun shot roaring;
Blood was everywhere and my eyes turn red
And a smile in his face - I left him dead.

Days had passed and I cant forget his smile,
A smile so scary that it drive me wild;
Sleeplessness came to haunt my every night,
A vision so terrifying and a shout full of might.

A thousand reincarnations I have lived,
And the smile is still a memory;
I cant go to the past and erase his face,
For forever it will make its trace.

How stupid I am to kill this man,
But my life wont be the same again;
Who is this man, you may ask?
Well, he is the person sitting next to your desk.
