Who We Are  

The Kiwanis Club of Spencer "After Five" was founded in 1996 as a cooperative effort of the three Kiwanis Clubs in Spencer - Hy-Noon, Golden K and Daybreakers.

The official charter date for the "After Five" club was April 19, 1996.

Since its charter in 1996, the club has worked closely with, The Nest, a project which rewards those less fortunate with needed items for encouraging the healthy growth of their families.

The club also participates in the 4th of July fireworks and has worked to benefit the Child Protection Center and other health related issues for children.

Other successful projects include:  Krispy Kreme Donut Day in May of 2003 where the club sold and delivered over 900 dozen Krispy Kreme Donuts.   The annual Rose Sale in April where around 300 dozen red roses are sold.  The winter Dad's Belgian Waffle Suppers, where  you truly can't eat just one.
