My
career of sustenance is computer programming and analysis. Yet, my passion
is writing and music. I have written two novels, am working on a third, and
have developed numerous songs to the demo stage. I have won two recognition
awards for my songs from the Connecticut Songwriters Association. Those two
songs can be heard on The Best of C.S.A. Anthology, Vol. 6 (to order, click
here: http://www.ctsongs.com).
I continue to develop my
craft in writing and song writing. I am an active member of C.S.A., and I
have taken piano and voice lessons for about eight years. I am also a member
of Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association and worked with an editor
there
to perfect my novels. I am a contributor to CAPA's newsletter, The Authority (for

My highest level of education
was earned at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. There I earned a
M.A.T. in art education. I also was educated in computer
technology at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Prior
to those, I had earned a BA in art at Webster College in Webster Groves,
Missouri.
I am a resident of Connecticut
and have been for more than fifteen years. Prior to that I lived in Massachusetts
for fourteen years from Provincetown
to East Longmeadow. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up there
in an extended family with my sister, Kim, brother, Rick, Mom and grandparents.
I am a single Mom of recent
college graduate and ESPN employee, Matt, and high school student, Michael.
I have recently survived ovarian cancer by having surgery in April
of 1998 with chemotherapy following.
