7th October	Kitale Town	20km
9th October	Phoenix Park, Dublin	5-20km

Besides a walk in Kitale Town, organised by Brian Cranmer from Dublin who is managing the Bosco Centre, a second walk will be taking place on Saturday 9th October in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.

Participants will meet at 10am in the car park at the 'Cross', located in the centre of the Park. Here we will have a briefing on the events of the day and have a brief period for everyone to limber up for the event itself. Also everyone will be given a map of the route which will be taken on the day. The walk will officially begin at 10:30am.

The walk is being organised by Brian's brother Eddie, and Sandra Kennelly. Both Eddie and Sandra have visited the Bosco centre this summer and they spent a couple of weeks volunteering with Brian. As there won't be road closures in the Park for the event the route will be both along the footpaths as well as following trails through the small woods throughout the park. However, if the weather is unfavourable on the day we will have a secondary route to avoid any grass areas.

Everybody is welcome to join us. It's not a race but simply a chance for us to raise money for a worthy cause. If you fancy joining us then please sign up now and we'll get some sponsorship cards out to you. Even if you can only walk 5km, 10km or 15km, the course is designed with this in mind so come along for what will be an enjoyable day out.
