Born in New Zealand, Michala moved to Australia at the age of 10, evetually comming to Melbourne at the tender age of 18 to further her acting career. Several guest roles followed on Blue Heelers and Round the Twist before winning the role of Marissa Taylor on Channel 7's "Always Greener" A Quick move to Sydney followed to start filming, and only after 12 episodes, Michala was nominated for a best new talent logie award. A chance meeting with Chris Murphy (Former INXS manager and manager of Petrol Records) led to Michala being singed with the label and subsequently releasing the first single "Kissin The Wind". |
