My own meeting with Michala inspired me to make this website for her. Her instore appearence at HMV in Burke St. Melbourne was amazing. You don't realize how small she is until you see her in person, and that goes for her beauty too! After thanking everyone for comming to see her, she belted out "Kissin' the wind" with some minor sound problems and then blew the crownd away with a cover version of "Love the one your'e with". Awesome.
She happily signed cd's, flyers and posters for fans and was chatty, sweet and courteous to each and every person - including the guy who yelled from the crowd "STRIP!"
My chat with Michala was about her feeling so nervous during her performance, the sound problems, my gushing over her (ahem!) and a quick mention about when she followed the AFL - she was a Carlton girl! Below is the CD single insert she signed to me.
