I did this on our last day at Kinmount Lake, as a present for our wonderful hosts, Des & Colleen. I painted it from a canoe, then finished it off (a bit) at the cottage. it was very challenging painting in the canoe, especially as my darling wife caugh two large bass, which I had to unhook for her. Then it started raining, quite a memorable experience! I originally started it in acrylic, but it was really tough to mix the colours, keep tthe water from spilling & bait hooks (how the heck did Tom Thomson do it???) -G-
