What's 
Balance is the word that gives you some idea of who I am and what I believe in. I believe in a balance between, and a combination of, opposing forces. This concept is, in some ways at least, embodied in yin and yang...
Even though it's become a cliche, I strongly believe that we must think globally. I try to be aware of the fact that I share this beautiful planet; not only with other humans, but also with all life. We are all part of one big, connected system; and we make a difference through what we do.
I believe that to really understand opposing viewpoints, you need to open your mind and your heart to a different view. While I may not always agree with others' views, I think we should all have the freedom to be who we want, and do what we please, as long as we do not hurt others in doing so. Is this idealistic? Absolutely! Welcome to my world... 
My Blog has my web log, diary, whatever you want to call it. My random thoughts, my feelings, happenings in my life, whatever might spur me to write. It's probably very infrequently updated, but so is this site...
Ah, vanity... What is a Web site, after all, if not a little bit of self-indulgence? So I humbly (okay, okay, not so humbly ;-) offer you more about me. If you were looking for a general description or history: I went to Whitaker Middle School and McNary High School in Keizer, Oregon (a.k.a. Salem Oregon). I went to University of Oregon where I received a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science, and a minor in Architecture. I then worked at Tektronix, Mentor Graphics Corporation, and then iGrafx (aka Micrografx, aka Corel Inc.). I got married & divorced & remarried again. Life is good. :)
