.

Any other Ideas are welcome, please if you have any ideas you would like to share, please email them [email protected] - or contact Heather at the clinic.

Kids name that team. We're going to have a drawing to name the team again, so kids think of a good name you'd like to have.

Top fundraiser of each team gets a $25 Red Robin Gift Certificate.

Here's our Mary Bridge Oncology Kids and Staff quilt. We're using this as a fundraising tool. We will have a drawing at the Relay for life at 5 O'clock on May 18th 2002. You need not be present to win, the winner if not present will be notified by mail or phone.
To enter on a blank piece of paper write your name, address, and phone number and one dollar buys you a chance to win the Cancer survivors quilt. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Whatever chances you sell for the quilt, by getting their name and address and collecting their dollar, you bank that money under your name for your fundraising. Your more then welcome to show this picture to anyone intrested.

Your local Papa Murphy's has a fundraising program. They are very friendly just ask about the "Murphy's offer a Peel-A-Deal card". It has eight can't miss deals for pizza.
You pay 1.00 and sell it for 5.00 it is a $50.00 min order, re-coupe your $50.00 and the rest is profit for your fundraising, or better yet you donate the $50 in your name for a tax deduction! My local Papas card works in Covington Kent, Auburn, and Panther Lake.

Car washes always work pretty good, all you need to do is contact your local gas station and ask if you could do a fundraiser for The American Cancer society, get some soap, wash mitts, buckets, a hose, and lots of your friends.

You can ask your local Sam's Club, or Walmart if you can fundraise in front of their stores, if you have a treadmill take it with you. When people see you working hard they tend to give bigger donations.

We were set up with some local Safeways to put out coin jars for The American Cancer Society in December of 2001, but because of the terrorist attacks we got bumped. So we are trying to get another month in 2002. Any moneys turned in from now until September 2002 is banked for our team!!!! So it's never too early to start. Safeway gave us a check for $3,000 for our team. Thank you.

Kim Messner is making a cancer survivor's quilt with the Mary Bridge Kids hands on it. If you are interested in having your hand traced so I can add it to the quilt please let me know. The quilt is made out of Mariners material with teal inserts and the hands are the color of a baseball glove. We will sell tickets for a
$1.00 each and have a drawing for it the last day of the relay. We will display it at the Relay for Life hopefully selling lots of tickets that day. If any team member would like to take the quilt to their work let me know and we can pass it around. E-mail [email protected].

You can have yard or garage sales. Tell your friends to do some spring cleaning and donate to your cause. It is amazing the money you can make from yard sales plus you can just put out a donation can for The American Cancer Society and ask for a donation.

I hope some of these ideas will help you on your fundraising goal.

Good luck!!!!
