Under George Bush, our country has been villifed in the world.
We pulled out of the Kyoto Protocol, we went to war without UN support, all of that is showing the world that we don't need them anymore.
Whether or not Bush lied, Bush refuses to be candid and straightforward. A recent OMB report said that the deficit would be 50% hisher than White House projections, Bush continues to change his story on intelligence on uranium, aluminum tubes.
Our economy is in shambles. Unemployment is at a nine-year high. No president since Herbert Hoover has lost jobs, and George Bush has done so.
Even if a person has a job, some of them can't afford health care for their children and for themselves, and when they retire, social security would be exhausted.
We have left school districts with an unfunded mandate, "No Child Left Behind". We sure are leaving our school districs behind.
Millions of low-income children are denied the child tax credit that they need so desperately. Republicans are treating them as if they don't matter. I hate to say it, but that borders on heartless.
And yet, with low-income Americans being denied, the corporate and wealthy are getting a tax cut. This is irresponsible.
And all this in a time of deficits. This is fiscal irresponiblility.
We are leaving our first repsonders, the heroes we held in high esteem after the tragedy of 9/11, are still unprepared.
John Kerry has a better vision for America.
A health care policy that benifits everyone, not just forking over money to corporations.
An energy policy that leaves us independent of sources possibly detrimental to our national security.
A prearedness policy that would give our first responders desperately needed resources.
A policy to put police on the streets.
This is why we need John Kerry. For the sake of our future, we can't afford not to.
Read some of his speeches, and help our efforts. Together, we can progress to a brighter future.
