With a slight trace of tongue over the outside of her lips, the kiss had been warm, friendly, assertive and definitely not what she expected. It had lasted less than a minute and had tasted faintly of beer and limes thanks to the Coronas they had both been drinking after a case that had shocked them all. She pushed her away very gently and wiped the lipstick from her mouth.
"I�m sorry," Casey said, "I thought-"
"Don�t worry about it. But I�m not the one you want. I�m just the one that�s here."
"Olivia."
"I can�t be that for you."
