Fan fiction. I love reading it. I even (occaisonally) take up the pen myself. Yet when I speak to people about it, they often get a slightly dazzed and/or glazed look, and I find myself having to explain what it is, or sometimes what it isn't. Most times, I believe they have visions of roleplaying games, basement dwellers in Spock ears, and other such phenomena. Actually, fan fiction at its best is about possiblity and equality. Its possibility springs from embracing the moments when one's mind wanders while watching a favourite television show or reading a favourite book and thinking "I wonder what would happen if" and then sharing that wonder with others. Equality is even simplier. Fan fiction is like the alphabet, anyone can use it.

Included here are my own works, humble though they are, as well as links to some of my favourite sites. I've also included some brief definitions to help those new to the arena make sense of it all. In short, this will be a growing part of the Ki's world of weird, so check often to see what I'm doing with it all.
