Product Overview |
The ProLiant ML770 delivers maximum scale-up (single server) performance in the ProLiant line, with 32 Pentium III Xeon processors, large SDRAM memory capacity and huge I/O expansion. This system is based on the Cellular Multi-Processing (CMP) architecture, designed for maximum performance and scalability. Compaq has upgraded the CMP architecture by adding additional
high-availability features, Compaq storage and options. All these capabilities
fit into a 40U, 2-cabinet system. One cabinet houses the CPUs and Memory,
the second cabinet houses the system support components. The System Cabinet,
(right side in image above), contains the 32 processor capable system.
