PICTURES
Pictures can  tell you alot, but its not always the whole story. The THRILL of  performing has to be, experienced !
The Grand Ol' Opry stage was an experience that
was both THRILLING and FRIGHTENING...both,
in a good way though....!
This was me in a country band backing up a young girl named Jessica Phillips We were invited to play on the Grand Ol'Opry stage during the JIM andDOTTIE SNOW gospel hour ,that followed the main show. What an  AWESOME  place this was.Ghosts were everywhere. As were some living legends like Marty Stuart, and Jeannie Seely.and Lil'Jimmy Dickins....AHHH... The Big Time !
I think It lasted all of  4
minutes.....But it was worth it !
The "LANDING" is Jacksonvilles
riverfront Mall..Its a great place to play outdoors.and be seen by lots of people. This picture is from
when I was with "Vagabonds Dream" . Other bands that I have played with here have been...
"
AREA 51" and "BLIND LEMON PLEDGE"....good crowds good
sounds....
"Yesterdays" was a Cool place to play. The congas are mine,Its very helpful to have a second Instrument.
I  also play percussion and all those
SHAKY--RATTLE  things.And I  love
singing back up vocals and
harmonies ....
Another shot of the
"Landing" with
VAGABONDS
DREAM... l-r  Buck
Carey,Jennifer Walsh,
Ken Holmes, Pete
Duffy....Jennifer has
a great voice,and the
rest of the guys were
SUPER musicians !
Everyone in the band
sang so we could get some really nice harmonies going...The
band would range from 3 to6 members at any given time so there was lots of variety.
This is while Jamming with the MATT RAGE band at the MOON
I met
Buddy Morgan (bass) and Tony Marinaccio (drums) when
they were playing with "50 Caliber" a few years ago.Tony is
actually much taller in real life...lol
