My Main area of research is Green Chemistry. It covers Supporgents, Heterogeneous catalysis, and oxidations,Microwave Chemistry, Ionic liquids. Water, aq.Hydrotope solutions as green solvent systems.
At present eight research students are working in my research group (AOCL) for their research degrees, 7 Ph.D.; 1 M.Sc.
Ongoing sponsored projects- BRNS, Govt. on India, Rs. 15.38 lakhs on MW assisted Iodine incorporation reactions; AICTE Rs. 10.7 lakhs, on Green Chemical Technology.
