Cheers

Hey there Key Clubbers,

Once again it's your historian Aaron and I just wanted to let you guys know about the project that just happened this weekend.

The project that we participated in was the Special Olympics Softball Tournament. We basically volunteered our time, ran game booths and cheered the players on when they were playing the field.

I would like to thank the people that came today: Diana, Lou, Aleczander (Six), Chris Lequang and I. Only a few people this time, kind of dissapointed for those of you who signed up and didn't go, but it was o.k. we had fun anyways.

The day was overall pretty tiring. We got to play in the batting cages and cheer the players on and just sit and relax because the people who organized this event over-booked volunteers so they really didn't need us.

Around 3 O'clock, we had our Divisional Council Meeting (DCM) For all of you who think our Key Club is the best, well say no more. You see each club in our division is in a point system with our Liutenant Governor, Daniel Chung. For the past couple of months, Piedmont Hills has been dominating the point system while Gunderson wound up in second place everytime...HA!!! Not this time, we have finally exceeded Piedmont Hills in the point system we are now the best key club in our division...for this month...but hey...it's really cool

Gunderson had 2103 while Piedmont is trailing us by 2099, we are in a four point lead so if you guys want to maintain it...you guys must participate in activites. Out of 14 schools in our district, we are number one, and it's gonna stay that way :)!!

Not alot of pictures were taken today but we do have a couple to show...

The person on the right is Daniel Chung, our Lieutenant Governor and to his right is John Tang, his newly appointed Diivisional Spirit Chair, um....yeah.

There's Myla Wise, Lieutenant Governor for Division 12 WEST (We are Division 12 EAST) and Lou and in the middle you can see Aleczander...

AWWW, there's Aaron and Myla...:)

Lou, Lou, Lou...Juggling is not your thing.

So you guys, if you want to have fun, PLEASE, sign up for some projects and participate. You'll have a fun time. We will keep you informed about the upcoming Regional Training Conferece (RTC) Which is a camp retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Though it costs 50 dollars, the experience you get from it is priceless. Just ask any of these people: Alysia, Diana Victor, Chris Lequang, Chris Sagor, Alisa Thomas and myself. We all went last year and it was so much fun. The more, the merrier.

And also, don't forget to ask about Fall Rally North, it is going to be at Marine World and costs about 21 dollars. There's a rally with all the Key Clubbers from the Nor-Cal region, ask about it, it's gonna be fun. That will be on October 19.

So that is it for now, Please volunteer, make a difference, and...yeah.

-Aaron B.
