Cheers

Hey there Key Clubbers...

Today's project was a big success. We had lots of volunteers and we all had lots of fun. Though we had to pick up garbage, we had each other, so we all weren't bored.

I would like to thank the following people who gave up their sunday to volunteer at the Willow Glen Founders Festival:

Victor, Phung, Thuy Phan, Aleczander, Mimi, Carla, Melissa, Vy, Sam, Alysia, Diana, Caitlin, and myself.

We all got to wear orange shirts to make ourselves evident to others that we were picking up their trash...Sure it sounds as if we were humiliated, but we were rewarded with very heart warming compliments and the thought that we were cleaning the environment.

There are those fashionable orange shirts that I was talking about. From left to right: Diana, Alysia, Caitlin, Aleczander, Phung and Victor

See I had a little trouble with opening a Pepsi can and it kinda bursted all over me... It was not fun, had to clean it off.

For those of you who dont know, our divisional mascot is superheros. Our logo is the superman pentagon with a K in the middle. In this picture, we used our garbage picking sticks and formed our Superhero pentagon. very cool...

By special request from Victor, our Key Club Treasurer, he wanted me to post this picture of this poor little pony. Ponys should not be forced to give little children rides and walk around in a circle for hours and hours on end. Fight the power Victor. Fight the power...

So anyways, today's event was a success and I'm looking forward to see all of you key clubbers at the first Key Club meeting on September 10 at lunch.

That's all for now...

-Aaron B.
