11-8-2001: Added a page about the Togitsu Festival. Also fixed some old stuff.. On a personal note: Life is good.
11-6-2001: I have an update. I ran out of time so I havn't checked the spelling or grammer yet and not all the pictures are linked, but Here it is.
11-6-2001: By the way. Ben(panda) is here in Japan with me. So there.
11-5-2001: Very busy day today.. perhaps an update tomorrow.
11-1-2001(a few hours later): I also added a poll.
11-1-2001: Wow, I guess I have been pretty active with this site lately. I have another update today. This one is about the wonderful pastime of Karaoke. Here's the deal: If you keep posting on the message board and e-mailing me, I will keep updating. Fair?
10-31-2001: It's a sad day for gamers. Today, SNK has closed it's doors. Goodbye, King of Fighters, Samurai Spirits and Metal Slug. You will be missed. As for me I am great. After a walk last night I feel better than ever.
10-30-2001: Wondering what yesterday's news post was all about?Find out here.
10-29-2001: "It's amazing what thoughts run through your head when you are speeding down the highway in the pouring rain on a 50cc moterbike at 4:30 am with a girl you met only 5 hours earlier, while wearing a wet Samurai outfit." More about this tomorrow...
10-27-2001: As promised, here is the English Class Picture. Also, here is the other one. I'm off to a Halloween party tonight. If anyone is interestesd, it's at Lucky Bowl in Nagasaki at 8:00. Costumes are optional. The cost is 2000 yen.
10-26-2001: Yesterday I found a small cheese shop and bought a block of mild chedder cheese and ate it like a candy bar. That is the food I miss most. Oh and I saw this view and this Chinese Temple then this adult English class gave me more cheese. It was a good day for cheese.
10-22-2001: It is starting to get cold in Japan. Last night it fell below 70 degrees. Here's an old pic I never linked:Kevin finds love in Japan You'll never break my heart, will you Neo-Geo CD?
10-16-2001(3 hours later): I guess I am the One-thousanth user. Go figure.
10-16-2001: I have yet to receive a letter from anyone... ::Sigh:: Oh well.. If anyone is still interested in my address, it is in the Old news section. SInce last update I have added another Engrish picture, and a new page about my visit to Kyoto MovieLand. I went there two months ago but added it only today. Was it worth the wait? See for yourself. I think the site might break 1000 today!@Kevin Out.
10-9-2001: They posted some pretty nice pics from the English Camp on the JASIN page (See links section). My pics from that will appear soon.
9-29-2001: Feeling a bit lonely... Today's pic: McTyler!
9-26-2001... 1:00am:The major update is ready! It is in the content section and is called "Peace Park". Please click on it. I put quite a bit of effort into it and am rather proud of it. As for today's pic: Ben finds a little slice of heaven in Nagasaki
9-25-2001:I'm still working on that major update but in the meantime I have a pic that I just have to upload. One of the best pictures I have ever taken. Here it is!
9-24-2001:Major update coming soon. I have tons of new pics and other goodies. But I am very tired right now. I have been up for almost 2 straight days. But check back soon!
9-20-2001:Let's see.. i found out that Dumb Type(my favorite collective) will be touring in America again this march. Japan is very hot today, and I havn't done much that required movement today, sorry. Today's pic: An excited Kevin on the Cat Bus
9-17-2001:I started a new project today. To practice my hirigana/kanji I am going to translate the Kimagure Orange Road Manga. Current progress: Volume 1 - Page 3... Video clip of the moment: Ben playing Pop'n Music at an arcade in Osaka (You may recognise the music in the background as the "Sailor Stars" opening from the fifth season of "Sailor Moon")
9-16-2001:Sorry for the lack of updates. Due to the recent events in New York I havn't been in the right mindset to do much of anything. But like they keep saying on TV, we have to return to "normal" as soon as possible. Today was a good day. I did Karaoke last night (Pics will be uploaded soon) and today my host mother's friend brought her young kids over. It was so cool to hang around with these elementary school kids. They even understood my Japanese. We played a game with my Totoro stuffed animal (which I supplied the voice for) It was a blast. Photo of the moment: The Hypo-center of the Atomic Bomb explosion (within Walking distance from my house).
9-12-2001:Last night as I was about to go to bed my host father calls me downstairs. He is watching television and it takes me a few seconds to realize what I am seeing. The world trade center stands with a flaming hole in one of the towers. I am just starting to take this all in when a second plane smashes into the other tower. Live. It looked so much like a movie I couldn't belive it. I stayed up until 1:30 that night, during thaty time to more planes crash, one into the Pentagon, and I see both towers fall to the ground. I don't even know what to say. If you pray, please do so now.

9-4-2001:Two updates in a row? Here we go. I added a section called "The Wild and Wacky of Japan" and it is just as it sounds. this is another ongoing project. Well.. back to my book (Monkey Brain Sushi). Oh, and don't be afraid to post on the message board.
9-3-2001:OK, it took me a very long time but I have uploaded all of my digital pictures. I am still in the process of sorting and labeling them, but I have for all of you loyal surfers some new content. It's a section called "Engrish!", you can find it under the "content" heading. It's very fun (if a little short). Now that I have web access again I hope to update more often. Till then.. enjoy.
9-2-2001:I am updating my webpage right now from the family computer. Two bystanders watch with much amusement.
8-30-2001:Sorry I didn't write more yesterday, I had limited time. The rumors are true, I am in Japan. I have already survived a Typhoon and an Earthquake. More to come on that...Until then here's: Ben confusing a small Japanese dog
8-29-2001:I'm in Japan. More to come..
8-17-2001:As promised a new update, and a big one. I took all the content that happens before Japan and put it into one section, I also added some background information about my home and family. It's all in a section called "Life Before Japan" check it out! Also under that heading I added some information for all of you who wondered what I was doing all summer. Just click on the Camp Tesomas link. Another major change is the speed of the site. I scaled down all of the images so that they would load faster. 56k users rejoice! That's all for now. 3 days and I'm there.
8-4-2001:A new update is coming soon. I am making reservations right now. I already have one for my night in Fukuoka Here's it's website! I will be spending 6 nights in Kyoto as well at one of 3 places. Kitayama, Utano or Higashiyama. I am getting really excited/scared. More to come in the next few days.
5-30-2001:The day after tomarrow I leave for camp. I will be there for 10 weeks with very limited internet access. So please write to me! Here is my address:

5-18-2001:The semester draws to a close. I will be working at a Boy Scout camp this summer and will have limited e-mail access, but don't let that stop you from E-mailing me. The site won't be updated much during the summer but check back in august for new information, or whenever you get bored. I'll probably post some odd pictures this summer. To all the wonderful exchange students I met this year. Goodbye. I will miss you. I will always treasure our friendships.
5-13-2001: Vivian hase been moved to the dance pictures section. Added an "Email Me" link.
5-12-2001:Ok.. I finally got around to updating. It's been a hard day, my favorite author, Douglas Adams, Died last night. He will be missed. On a brighter note, the party was fun. I have added LOTS of pics and a fun video clip. I also found out that for a few nights in Osaka I have a place to stay (Thank you Yuji). By the way.. anyone who lives in Osaka, please suggest some tourist spots for me. Post them on the message board.
5-11-2001: I added another pic of the dance. You can find it under "Vivian" in the content section. If anyone else knows of a pic that should be there that I havn't put up yet, let me know. More new pics coming tomarrow ^_^
5-10-2001: 7:14am Well.. let's see.. I stayed up all night working on my Term Paper. But it's finally done! Now I'm just killing time until I have to go to work. I added my classes to the "content" section.. not that I expect anyone to care...
5-9-2001: 11:42am There has been some trouble with the message board. Sometimes it works, sometimes it dosn't. If it dosn't work, come back a little later, it probably will. As for me, I finally registered for classes, I will probably post that information in the "content" section. I am still trying to figure out where I am going to stay while I am in Osaka. I need to see if I can find any cheap hotels. Oh, I added my email address. It might be helpful with the current message board situation.
5-9-2001: 1:05am Fixed a spelling error...
5-8-2001: 1:28am: Added pics from a dance I went to this weekend... couldn't find a good one of me.
5-8-2001: 12:03am: Wow, people are actually visiting this site. Pretty good considering the fact that I haven't left yet. Maybe I need to add a little "About me" type thing. Any thoughts? Post them on the message board.
5-7-2001: 12:09am: Minor updates to the site. Added Links section and travel plans. 1:18am added message board. Need sleep now. 1:48am ..or perhaps I don't. Added a hit counter.
5-6-2001: It looks like I have a website. I'm surprised, usually I just say I am going to do something cool, but never get around to doing it. This site is VERY simplistic, but that is good, it will be easy to update. I am still in America until August 20th.
