| Here at Kerr Racing Stables (Wayne and Janet Kerr) we strive towards excellence in the racing industry. We try to maintain a rather small stable (8-10 horses) so each individual horse get the care and attention they deserve. We work closely with our blacksmith, vets and nutritionists to get the best possible edge in the racing field. Currently we are stabled at Mountaineer Park in Chester, West Virginia. We are only a few hours from Presque Isle Downs in Erie, PA, Beulah Park in Grove City, OH and Thistledown Racetrack in Cleveland, OH. There are several more tracks like Charlestown Racetrack in Charlestown, West Virginia and Penn National Racetrack in Harrisburg, PA that are with in a days drive from our farm. | Our farm here at Kerr Racing Stables offers the chance for the horses to have a little rest and relaxation after a race or following an injury before heading back to the demands of the racetrack. We have a 10 stall barn complete with wash rack, feed room, and saw dust bin. We have a 45 foot round pen and a 3/4 acre grass lot for convenient turn out. It only takes 20 minutes to get from the farm to our stalls at Mountaineer Racetrack in Chester West Virginia.
