| Wayne started riding at a very young age and started competing in barrel racing at the age of 10. He bought Billy Scoop as an unbroke two year old and went on to win the All American Quarter Horse Congress on her in 1991 in the JR Horse class at the age of 16. Wayne started riding futuirty horses in 1996 and in 1997 was sitting in top ten futurity riders until an accident occurred that left him with a severly broken leg and took him out of the rest of the season. Since 1998 Wayne has competed off and on with the futurity horses and barrel horses, like Skippy, shown on the barrel horse page but this is when he began to switch his focus to thoroughbred racing. Wayne started at Moutaineer Park as an excerise rider in 1996 but had to take some time off with the broken leg. When he came back after his injury he began galloping full time and in 1998 became a trainer. Since this time he has focused his energy on training and has traveled to several different tracks across the country to better his training abilities and making good contacts in the thoroughbred racing industry. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I can't remember ever learning how to ride, I think I was born on a horse! I started running barrels when I was 8 on an awesome little pony named Jubilee! She was a pole bending machine! I went through the whole 4-H thing but found my nitch in rodeo. I started in High School Rodeo for IL and had a lot of success due to some pretty awesome horses. Over the 4 years I won a state title in barrel racing, pole bending and three state titles in cutting. I also was the year end reserve all-around cowgirl my senior year. I qualified for the High School National Finals all four years and my senior year I managed to qualify in all 5 events. Then it was on to college, I attended Southwest Missouri State University where besides going to rodeos I graduated with honors with a degree in Animal Science. My sophomore year I was the reserve champion barrel racer and qualified for the College National Finals in Bozeman, MT. What an experience! From my senior year in high school (1994) until 2001 I owe all my success to a little bay 14.2 hand horse named Docs Streaky Jet. Streaky and I also qualified for the MRCA Finals and the URA Finals in 1995 and 1996. Streak is now 29 and happily retired at my mom and dads. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Wayne and I were married in 2003. I had never been involved in the racing industry but quickly had a crash course in the business. Since then I have learned to be a exercise rider, a pony person, and basically an assistant trainer. I really love the racehorses and barrel horses and it just seems that we are living a dream!. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
