Tokyo Trials: Japanese Movie Goers Cried Watching
The day before yesterday, there was an activity for the New Asian
Director Award, Gao Qun Shu has caused quite a stir,he is the director
the movie "Tokyo Trials" (original name "Far East International Big
Trial") This movie was recently finished and just passed through the
censors and promotions for this movie screening was quite low key, the
reporters who came to watch the movie were very few. The audience can be
divided into 3 kinds: those that hope to understand this part in
history, the fans of Zhu Xiao Tian and Lin Xi Lei as well as the
overseas people who participated in the festival. However, these
audiences after watching the movie have different feelings towards it,
some people were shocked by the movie, some people appreciated their
idols performance, but several Japanese people have covered their faces
with tears but they don't want to comment anymore on this part of
history.
After the movie screening, one after the other the audience broke into a
warm applause. A movie fan expressed that: "In the past we have seen
Sino-Japanese War movies but we know little on the international trial.
This movie is more than adequate for what we didn't learn in class. The
fans of Zhu Xiao Tian and Lin Xi Lei have said that theperformances of
their idol have "arrived." Zhu Xiao Tian was very cool and Lin Xi Lei's
sex appeal broke through her former image, it wasn't the magnificent
clothing and the bright make up that allowed them to display their
performing skill and strength. Some Japanese who have watched the film
their face was full of tears, the said, they have now understood this
part of history, and because of the contradictory feelings they have
they refused to comment on the movie.
