Part of what that worm puts on the machine is malware
that shuts down IE.

That may be able to be fixed with the tools available here

I'm waiting for cwshredder 1.39.004 to come out because that update may
contain additional fixes for this.

McAfee found this and included it in their updates today.
Updating should stop future infections of this type.
Getting rid of the previous payloads may be more difficult.
