Paralio Astros a quaint fishing village on the Argolic Gulf is a unique location and center for travel throughout the Peleponese region or southern Greece.  You will meet villagers on timeless narrow streets.

High mountains rim this sea side village, making it seem like a place cut off from the rest of the world. In fact, the cities of Argos, and Nafplio are only a 30 minute drive by the sea road, where there is shopping and entertainment. From Argos it is less than an hour by highway to Corinth and a little more than 2 hours to Athens. So, Paralio Astros may seem a million miles away from anywhere, but civilization is close enough. For those living in Paralio Astros, for those who enjoy the simple life, it's comforting to have cities far enough away so you don't notice them.
