| �Education is the best provision for old age� Aristotle (384 -222BC) I live in the land of Aristotle who said, �He who exercises his reason and cultivates it seems to be both in the best state of mind and most dear to the gods." I have walked the footpaths of Socrates, his walk around school exists then as now, through the streets and market places of Athens, where he taught "Know thyself." He believed that knowledge is inside everyone but that it needs to be revealed to him or her. Plato sought Socrates as a teacher and founded the Academy in Athens, an institute of philosophical and scientific studies. I would 1ike to go one-step further, I personally believe that a person has to be exposed to knowledge that expands the globe. A lifelong learning program, intentional exposure for students of all ages. The exposure along with the knowledge that Plato expressed so well, "that leisure was essential to wisdom." I am Judy Marcopoulos a native of Virginia who has lived in Greece for 13 years. I have established a studies abroad program for colleges and universities in America. I would like to extend an invitation to you to come and experience Greece and expand your knowledge in a leisure environment with me here in Greece and learn about the Greek people their history, culture and traditions.
