12 Star Pub:
This would be "The English Pub" as several Brits, Germans, or French frequent 12-Star on a daily happy hour fashion. Somebody forgot the the horse hair dartboard. Hualien's most beautiful-ever pub girl, Jessica, worked here two years ago.
I wish they could re-hire Jessica, as maybe the rest of the Brits, Germans, or French would stay out of the good bars on the East Coast of Taiwan. Watching ice cubes melt can be done while the British band plays good music on Fridays.
Update: Just found out that this pub has just closed. A new pub will be operated by the same owner, Sue-Lin, at the All Star Pub, which is also covered here. |
