Darby and Art (The setup)
This is the setup for the famed story of Darby and Art. This  is a narrative story that requires a deck of cards. Once you become  familiar with this story and the setup, you should be able to throw in a few of  your own nuances in the style of telling the story.
Here's what's required:
1 full deck of playing cards including the two Jokers.
Second deck of playing cards with same backside design. (This    deck is optional, do not set it up)
To begin with setting this gag up, you need to separate all of the  cards in order of value. (i.e. Aces in one pile, Twos in a separate pile,  etc until you have all the cards separated.)
The following is the order in which to place the cards: All  cards will be placed face up for now. Unless otherwise noted, assume that  when a particular card is called for, it should be a single card and suit should  not matter.
Start by separating out the 4-5-6-7-8 of  Hearts. (Keep these away from the rest of the cards as they will be used  at a later time in the setup.)
Grab a Red3 and a Black 3. These  cards will represent Darby and Art. (Use the Black 3 for  Art. You will understand why this will become important when we get to the  story itself.)
Next place both of the Jokers on top of the 3's.
Now come all 4  Jacks
Next are an 8, a 6, and a 4. (The order of these doesn't really  matter. You will read these as they come up.)
Now a 2 followed by all 4  Queens.
Again comes an 8, a 6 and a 4. (These should not be placed in  the same order as the previous set)
Now another 2 followed by all 4 Aces and  another 2.
After this take all 4 Kings and the last 2.
After this come all  4 Tens and a 5.
The last 18 cards flow in this order:
A  Five, a Seven, a Seven, an Eight, a Six, a Three, a Seven, a Four, a Three, all  4 Nines, a Five and then finally comes the Four-Five-Six-Seven-Eight of Hearts  that you separated out at the beginning.
It is important to remember that once you set this deck up, you  should not shuffle it at any time.  (This is very important to the flow of  this story)  During the story, you will have people cut the deck. (It  is also important that you have them only make a single cut and that you watch  where the former top of the deck gets placed)
Now that you have your deck setup, it's time to work on the  Story
