BAD NEWS! geocities is shutting down! this site will be going down within the next couple of months, before summer is over! i'll try to get this back up on another host, if i can find a free one i like and can work with. grab the list of events now while you can! as usual, the "number" dates may change, but the weekends usually remain the same each year! this also goes for the DeBary family site, as well as the Marion County Museum of History sites. keep googling for us, as i will have to have something back up before the summer is over.

This is the personal website of Jeremy DeBary, also known as Connor Campbell, the Kender, and most recently as "Mr. D" to my students. This website will feature some information about my family, friends, and myself and my interests, as well as some Florida and specifically Marion County and Ocala history. I am now a full-time student at Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee working on completing my teaching degree. i plan on one day having a history classroom with my name on it! at the moment i am working on making some major changes and updates to this site, so please be patient with me as i get them between working full-time and going to school full time. for the latest information on me, and the best way to get a hold of me, click on the link to my Live Journal blog! and a big, huge, special thank you to all my friends who have been so supportive through this whole life-changing process! This just in! as of May 2008, i have been on Facebook! look for Jeremy Earl DeBary! Also, you can find my resume and educational portfolio at "mvhayv.weebly.com". (no, that wasn't a link, i'm working on it)

for the technically inclined, i am using the font "papyrus" on this website. i am creating the pages with a combination of microsoft frontpage and the built in editing feature of geocities. i have borrowed some background graphics from the website known as "Pieces of Eight", which is a website dedicated to the history of 17th century pirates. you can find them at http://pieceofeight.com/. they were listed as open to use.

This site fully updated last on 10/22/2006. Partial update 02/18/2007.
