Production History:
The M83 "Lightning" series of scout bikes entered production in the year 2324, thirty years before the revolution. Although the design is a half century old, the M83A2 is equipped with the new Mikoyan E-444 Repulsorlift drive that gives the bike a top speed of 96 mph and a range of 250 miles, allowing it to be the fastest ground recon unit in the Kel-Morian Empire's arsenal. The M83A2 is assigned to every combat unit in the Empire however some M83A1's, with no droid pilot uplink, are still in use in some combat squadrons, law enforcement, and civilian collectors. |
