A Droid squad from the 7th Droid Infantry Corps was ambushed by five Kneewoks with arrows. The squad headed in the directon of the fire and was ambushed by a group of twenty with melee weapons, destroying the droids quickly but the command droid managed to get off a mayday to headquarters. A detachment of destroyer droids and a platoon of battle droids were sent in for a counterattack. The Kneewok encampment was completely obliterated with no casualties other than the eight that were ambushed before.
The Battle Intensifies
5th Droid Corps was advancing towards the main Kneewok stronghold when they were attacked by primative gliders and siege equipment including catapults. The droids recieved minor losses and sent the 1st Destroyer Droid Platoon forward to draw fire while 3rd and 4th Battle Droid Platoons went in for a flanking maneuver. The Destroyer Droids were damaged but not out of commission. All the siege equipment and the Kneewok firebase were eliminated. At this time, the Mechanized Infantry division arrived on the battlefield with 20 "Grim Reaper" Light Assault Mechs and 5 "Velociraptor" Medium Assault Mechs.
The Cavalry Arrives
The 2nd Armored Cavalry troop made their way down the dirt roads flanked by the 5th Droid Corps. When they reached the outer perimeter of the Kneework stronghold they recieved a volly of arrows. Some droids were damaged and brought offline but nothing that could not be repaired later. The Mechanized Infantry followed up with a barrage from the Velociraptors and a few short bursts from the anti-infantry guns on the Grim Reapers. The Grim Reapers engaged their jump-jets and while in flight fired several rounds from their anti-armor turboblasters right into the Kneewok's command building.
Main Assault
!st and 3rd Mechanized Infantry troops emerged with the 5th Droid Corps to the north of the Kneewok base, decimating the Kneewoks on and around the gates. They pushed through to the second wall and made short work of the meager defenses. The 7th Droid Corps and 2nd Mechanized Infantry troop assaulted the southern gate and broke into the main compound, killing every Kneewok that pointed a weapon at them.
