Before the main battle occured, the Clan was deleayed by an enemy diversion force which they swiftly dealt with, but meant they would not arrive to aid allied forces till long after the main battle was over.
As the battle began, LSA black ops forces along with the Executors Elite guard landed on the undefended side of an asteroid base while allied forces lured enemy ships away from the asteroid to help draw fire away from the landing teams.
While enemy vessels approached the main fleets, the order was given to hold fire till the moment given. Needless to say several dozen enemy fighters fled in terror at the surprise ambush and sheer amount of firepower in those first seconds.
After the first asteroid had been secured the defenses were put under allied control and turned on their masters as the Prototype approached and numerous enemy vessels poured out of a second asteroid space dock. Due to enemy forces having cracked the codes on the vessel, the Duke put in the self destruct code from his vessel to put the prototype out of action completely.
As the executor and his forces along with LSA black ops landed on the second base, contact was lost constantly, but within the cure to the plauge on Moria was found and recovered. Once allied forces had control of the second asteroid is when the real surprise appeared.
Dropping out of warp and comming from the planets surface was dozens of Berg vessels which seemed next to impossible to destory but were in the end.
At this point the order to turn the planet to a cinder was given to all allied forces to prevent further enemy reinforcements from the surface. Several hundred nuclear missiles hit the surface and offically rendered all life on it dead.
With enemy forces in full retreat, allied forces surrounded the main body of the enemy fleet and destroyed all vessels. Several fighter squadrons got away and were persued till they were destroyed.
In all allied forces suffered some serious losses but in the end, were nothing compared to those suffered by the enemy.
Shortly after, the clan arrived in time to help out with defense of the captured space dock and all the intellegence found within.
As of the posting of this report, the Empire is at war with the Berg whom have been found to be behind the disasters that had hit the empire.
