Respect and Responsibility are the keywords of the Gemini Blue Team!
Respect for yourself, your peers, your teachers, and your environment. Think before you act, or say something that might hurt others. Respect the property of others--students and the school. Respect your teacher's right to teach--be on-time and ready to work when class starts.
Responsibility means meeting expectations. Be on-time for class. Come prepared to work; bring necessary materials. You are responsible for what you say and do!
If you keep these two keywords in mind, you will find that Gemini will be a great place to learn, meet challenges, have fun, and grow!
The Blue Team works on a rotating, block schedule, using colors--each day you will have only four major academic classes. Periods one and four are off-team. During off-team time you will have health, gym, band 
, core enrichment classes, and foreign language.
You will get a schedule the first day that has the class schedule for the whole week. The times for locker breaks are also listed.It looks confusing at the beginning but we'll work together so that you get to the right class. Your teachers will tell you what color class comes next, and Mrs. Baker always has the daily schedule posted outside her room so you can check easily.
Are you having difficulty with an assignment? or Do you just want to stay and get your homework done? Extra help is available after school on Tuesdays, and Thursdays when there are late buses. Late buses usually start a couple weeks after school begins! You even get an extra credit point when you stay for some subjects.

Each month one or two students are nominated for Student of the Month. The nominee may be an outstanding student, shows team spirit, extraordinary kindness to others, or maybe just makes Gemini Blue Team a better place to learn. Watch for the students nominated this year! Will it be YOU!!!
Have you read the last Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix? The fifth book was one of the best! If you haven't read the series, plan to this year for Take 10 in reading class. Mrs. Baker has the entire series and is willing to lend the books out. If you have, you might be interested in this site.
