XANDER: I'm a strong, successful male who's giddy at the thought of all the women I will no doubt be dating in the near future.
BUFFY: Strong, successful males say "giddy"?
GILES: It's not over. I supposed you know that. He'll come after you, particularly. His profile, uh, well he... he's likely to strike out at the things that made him most human.
BUFFY: You must be so disapointed in me.
GILES: No. No, I'm not.
BUFFY: But this is all my fault.
GILES: No, I don't believe it is. Do you want me to wag my finger at you and tell you that you acted rashly? You did, and I can. But I know that you loved him, and he has proven more than once that he loved you. You couldn't have known what would happen. The coming months are gonna be hard... JOYCE: Good. Because when it comes to you, Angel, Buffy's not a slayer. She's just like any other young woman in love. You're all she can see of tomorrow. XANDER: But you missed the point. You shut down, Buffy. And you've been treating Riley like the rebound guy when he's the one the comes along once in a lifetime. He's never held back with you, he's risked everything. And you're about to let him fly because you don't like ultimatums? If he's not the guy, if what he needs from you just isn't there, let him go. Break his heart, and make it a clean break. But if you think you can love this guy... I'm talking scary, messy, no emotions barred need... if you're ready for that... then think about what you're about to lose.
BUFFY: Xander...
XANDER: Run.

BUFFY (in Faith's body): [trying to convince Giles she's Buffy] When I had psychic power I heard my mom think that you were like a stevedore during sex. Do you want me to continue?
GILES: Actually, I beg you to stop.

SPIKE: I don't wanna be this good looking and athetic. We all have our crosses to bear.
DAWN: Buffy? What are we gonna do now?
BUFFY: You got your soul back. How?
