29/4/07 AC Victoria 4 Keighley Athletic 1
Even with having ex-Bradford City captain Lee Duxbury playing for us we were no match for bogey side AC Victoria. Steve Kernan bagged our solitary effort.

21/4/07 Keighley Athletic 2 Stanbury 2
Kernan and Nicholson!!

14/4/07 New Variety 8 Keighley Athletic 4
Saw the second half and it was comical stuff. Kernan 3 and Mark Johnson the other- some classic Athletic defending as well.

12/4/07 Keighley Athletic 10 Keighley Utd 0
Not bad eh- especially with Dousty in goal. D
3-0 up at ht through two Pete goals and one by Kernan
United reduced to ten at ht through injury
Goal-fest ensues : 2 further goals from kernan (1 pen ) to complete hattrick one further from pete to complete hattrick
followed by goals from Al Familio and Mark Johnston (2 each)
10-0.
Last goal by pete might be worth mentioning - a volleyed effort from edge of box.

1/4/2007 Keighley Utd 1 Keighley Athletic 5
I only caught the last ten minutes but heard this was another good performance against a physical United side. The prolific Steve Kernan bagged four and Al Familio got the other

18/03/2007 Silsden Town 2 Keighley Athletic 8

Town were blown away both literally and metaphorically by a howling
blizzard and Keighley Athletic in Silsden park. Athletic started
strongly playing into the wind and were soon three goals to the good as
Mark Johnson and Steve Kernan twice found the net, although the home
team pulled one back shortly before half-time.

With the wind at their backs Athletic were even more dominant in the
second half as man-of-the-match Kernan hit two more, Alex Familio
cracked home a beauty and there were further goals for Johnson and Pete
Hinton with Silsden getting a late consolation goal.

04/03/2007 Keighley Athletic 4 Silsden Town 2
I wasn't there but I heard Silsden actually scored four goals to two, unfortunately for them two were in there own net. Jamie Smith and Steve Kernan bagged for Athletic.

25/02/07 Keighley Athletic 3 AC Victoria 3 (AC win 6-5 on pens)

This was a cracking Jeff Hall cup tie between two of the top local Sunday sides. AC,  boasting a complement of Silsden Saturday players, forged into a two goal lead with goals from Rhodes and Moriarty but Athletic pulled level with late strikes from Steve Kernan and Tom Whitwham. Extra time saw AC retake the lead through Moriarty's second but Whitwham again restored parity for Athletic.

So to a dramatic penalty shoot out with Athletic missing three from eight and AC taking the game missing two and scoring six. Athletic were disconsolate but will take heart from a gutsy performance against the league leaders.
