| We took on our present title in 1998 and joined the highly competitive, Leeds-based Wharfedale Triangle League in 1999, occupying a place in the Premier Division for four seasons and winning the Supplementary Cup in 2001. At the end of 2001 Wysocki was poached by Long Lee under-8s and Norman Greene took control, Stewart Nicholson also arrived and after the pressure of the job became too much for Greene, Nicholson became manager with Mick Goodwin as assistant. |
| 1996 saw a change in management as the rotund Charlie Wysocki took the helm, it also saw an end to the careers of several of the aging stalwarts who had previously brought the club success. It was a time to turn to youth and over the next few seasons the Goodwin brothers, Tom Whitwham, Gareth Peace, Dave Brown, Jamie Smith and Dave Ellis would form the backbone of the team. During this transitional period the club enjoyed more limited success but still recorded famous victories against the likes of Keighley Juniors and Silsden. |
| In 2003/04 we joined the Keighley and Aire Alliance League and in our first season won the league and Jeff Hall Cup double, in 2004/05 we again lifted the league title. | The club has a history dating back to the 1960's. Formerly known as the Beeches and then the Druids Arms, the club were a well-known and respected local outfit. They enjoyed several successful seasons- most notably 1993-94, when under the management of Bob Harness the club completed the Wharfedale league treble. The team contained many Keighley legends such as Paul (Sow) Ettenfield, Colin Buckley, Malcolm Cobb, Roy Mason, Steve Kernan, Dean (Dino) Foye, Tim Herd and the twinkle-toed Ray Rickaby. They thought they were better than Brazil until Keighley Star gave them one heck of a whacking in the Keighley Cup. |
