People and Places

This page is a listing of all non Keepers and places that have not been mentioned else where in this web site. This list will grow in time and I'll have to probably make some new lists as it does grow.

People and Races

Venom, Evil - First Appearance: The Quester
There always has to be an arch villain and he is it. Venom is the ex-Keeper of plants. He was excused for high treason after disobeying an order from the Raptor that resulted in Bringer being lost to the Dimension of no Return. Knowing that he was going to executed, Venom made a clone of himself in the form of an android body that was near perfect. This clone is the Venom that the Keepers now fight. Actually, Venom was once good, but his creation is evil as it has no feelings save hate for the Keepers and a mix of hate and love for the Raptor. Not to mention the fact that it wishes to destroy the universe so that he can recreate it according to his whim.

Venom, Good - First Appearance: 'Keeper Comic Strip'
Before Keepers like the Raptor, Godlin, and Tech were created, there were the five Original Keepers. Venom was the leader of these Keepers. His powers were in that of plants and water. When the evil clone was created, Venom lost much of his water control, however. When the new Keepers were created, the Raptor was made leader of them over him and it sparked jealously in him because of it. As the Raptor slowly came into her own, Venom declared her evil and set out to do her in. However, his plans back fired on him and we are were we are today.

Tor - First Appearance: The Quester
This is Venom's right hand man. Actually, he isn't a man at all but a demon in disguised.  I won't tell off everything with him, it will spoil the fun.

Michelle - First Appearance: The Quester
This is one of Amber's best friends. She's something of a coward, but will follow her friends to the ends of the Earth if she had to. Michelle probably won't be seen again, though, who knows.

Christine - First Appearance: The Quester
This is Amber's other best friend. She's quite silly at time, almost childish, but means well. If anyone out of the three friends are going to get into trouble, it's going to be her and it's going to be Amber that gets them out of it.

Nagua - First Appearance: The Quester
This was the young girl that helped the Raptor when she went to steal the Quester Stone of Life from Mother. The Raptor noticed a great amount of power in her and wondered if she had been Mother's creation, or if this girl is a rebellious act against the very Quester Stone that created her. We may never know the answer to this riddle.

Duck - First Appearance: The Quester
Ooo! One of my favorite minor character! Duck is the embodiment of the fifth, though just where she came from is a mystery to readers... ::evil grin:: Duck is a small green dragon who could be consider the Raptor's side kick. Duck calls herself "Rappy's assistant" at time, and it is often proven as being true. Duck and the Raptor are connected, however, as Duck is sometimes called the Riddle Breaker while the Raptor is called the Riddle Maker.

Ribbit Gibbit - First Appearance: The Quester
These were the little odd creatures that stole a part from the Raptor's computer while she was in the fifth. Theses riddle creating creatures are quite chaotic and are often found causing a good deal of trouble. Though the Raptor has the power to destroy them she doesn't. The Raptor understands that their existence, though annoying, might be necessary.

Rain - First Appearance: Of Venom and Antidote
This is Venus's white mouse that he gains as a friend after Tran uses the small creature as a practical joke. The Raptor tells Venus that the mouse is one of the lab mice. What she doesn't tell him is that the mouse is very intelligent and has the ability to learn and solve problems. This mouse will be seen again, as it now lives in the pockets of Venus's coat.

Sons - First Appearance: The Quester
These dog like creatures are the most intelligent beings that the Keepers know of to date. They were built for war. Speed, endurance, strength, these beings are really dogs at all. The Son's live for war and as the resources on their moon are from nil to none, they must concur other planets to gain these resources. The Sons have a hate of the Keepers, but, they also hold a respect for them because of the war stories they have heard of them from other races. Not to mention that the two have conduced battle before.

Emperor of the Whispers - First Appearance: The Quester
This is the leader of the living Questers in the Dark Side. He has no official name, so he is just called Emperor. The Raptor holds a good deal of respect for the power of this being as she knows that he could crush her should she enter the Dark Side alone. The Whispers have never been seen before in the light, for if an immortal sees one in full, then it will cause them to change into one, or at least that is what has been hypothesized. If a mortal sees the Whisper, however, they just die. Not too much of a mystery there.

Places and Things

The Fifth - First Appearance: The Quester
I know this place was mentioned before when the Quester Stones were talked about, but it's worth mentioning again. This is the Land of Puns, literally. The area that is first seen in The Quester is only one of many places that a being can go in the fifth, if they know how to do it. The fifth is set up like checkered boards all stacked on top of one another and side by side into what seems to be infinity. Actually, infinity has a quicker end in the fifth (remember, different dimension, different laws) that it does here and so, the dimension really isn't that big. When someone looks up or down, what they are really seeing is the fact that the dimension curves in on itself, but still remains flat. It's like looking into two mirrors facing one another. Basically, if you could see that far, you would see the back of your head. Now, if that's mind boggling enough, how about this? Matter can be created and destroyed on the fifth. It is done such when beings from the dimensions that cross the fifth think of a pun, or some other random oddity. This is the reason that the fifth keeps itself open to all the dimension that it can, so that it can draw energy from them. This random creation ability is what gives the fifth it's powers, as well as the Raptor's powers. The Raptor and the fifth dimension are strongly connected. The Raptor has absolute control over the fifth and has been given the ability to create and destroy things there. Pretty much, she's there to keep the place from being over run by too many thoughts and to protect it should one of the other dimensions decide to take it over. Confused yet?

The Tenth - First Appearance: The Quester
Again, this place is worth mentioning twice. This is Arachnid's home world. It's quite a strange dimension. It is unknown as to exactly how big that the dimension is, as the only area the Keepers have gotten to is the small brink room that was first shown in The Quester. The Raptor suspects that the dimension is far larger than it seems, because Arachnid must have a place to live and to store the souls he steals. That will either be proven or disproved later on. As for the dimension itself, like the fifth, Arachnid has full control over the place. However, unlike the Raptor, he can also influence laws there according to what Quester stones he took over before becoming a central dimension. The extent of his full power is yet unknown.

Keeper Compound - First Appearance: The Quester
In Venom and Antidote, Venus explains the works of the place. In The Quester, it's only touched on as the main characters, the three girls, move through it. The Keeper compound is located on Jupiter's moon, Europa. The Keeper compound is actually made of three main areas that are arranged in the shape of an equilateral triangle. The main one is Keeper headquarters. A second headquarters had been built as well, in case something should happen to the first. The lab itself was the third and final area. The two headquarters and the lab are separated by a clear tube about ten feet in diameter that run for three hundred yards across the ground.

Master Alpha Computer (M.A.C.) - First Appearance: The Quester
This is the main computer that is located in the first of the two Keeper headquarters. Again, it's best explained Of Venom and Antidote in It runs everything that the Keepers might need from hot water to lights to somewhere to store information. Mouse is in charge of this computer and is often found near it in some way or other.

Master Delta Computer (M.D.C.) - Of Venom and Antidote
This is a back up computer to the M.A.C. It is located in the second of the Keeper headquarters. This computer is almost never turned on, save in dire emergencies when the M.A.C. goes down, which does happen from time to time. The M.D.C. stays powered up just enough to get information updates from the M.A.C.

Master Beta Computer (M.B.C.) - First Appearance: The Quester
This is the last ditch computer should something happen to the whole of Keeper compound. It, surprisingly enough, is located in the fifth dimension where the Raptor often uses it to do work on. Pretty much, this compute stores only the most vital of information for the Keepers.
