It all started in the beginning of 2002 when Keele were studing how to make a map engine for a role play game. Palle then showed Keele a page with a nice map engine wrote with DelphiX. Keele then got interested in DelphiX and wanted to learn more.

It didn't take a long time before Keele allready could handle DelphiX a bit(simple graphics) and then Keele wanted to try on making his long time dream: a game engine like in Tapan Kaikki and in Phobia. Keele didn't want to take a too big step in the beginning so he made a game engine where the map doesn't move. But when he made it, it was a total disaster, didn't work at all.

But when Keele was visiting his brother, Jaakko, both Keele and Jaakko started to think about the problem again. Well, this time it was a success. The engine worked! Some small bugs, but worked anyway.

The idea of making a "space game" came when Keele wanted to try to make a engine for accelerating objects, but Keele do not know even to day how to make a engine so that the object would "slide" so it had to be in space as space is a vacuum and Keele had a X-Wing picture from the past.

As the first wroted engine didn't support moving of the map, the map was only the screen size, but the game was fun anyway when you could modify the ships and everything. But then Vee wanted Keele to make a engine to support moving of the map, Keele had a new challenge and he started to study again. This time Keele saw that there was to much to change s let's start it all over again and skip the whole first version. Also one thing that forced Keele and Vee to make a new Space Game was that Keele wanted the game to support OnLine playing.

The name "Space Game" has got a lot of feedback of being a very stupid name which is true, the name didn't really come from anywhere, but we didn't really come up with any better name either.
