Hello all!

As you can see, I have included a couple of pics of our "new" car. It is in really good condition, considering how old it is. There is barely a scratch on the outside and the interior looks almost new. And it drives really well too...gets amazing mileage. Of course, considering our other car is an SUV, it doesn't take much to impress us when it comes to mileage.



I have also included a recent pic of the pups. I think it is such a funny picture, primarily because Banzai looks the same size as Spirit. I actually snapped the photo about a second before she bounded off the couch and pounced on Spirit. No worries...it's a regular occurance around here. And just so you know, I have updated Spirit and Banzai's website. They each now have a page telling the story of how they came to live with us. You think we overindulge with the dogs...just wait until we have kids in a few years!



I can't say that we have done anything exciting over the past week or so. We did cut the grass for the first time last weekend. Our new manual push mower is great! We can cut the grass at anytime without any noise bothering the neighbors. (When I say 'we', I mean Kylan. He says it's a man's job and he won't let me do it. I'm not complaining!) We left the cuttings on the lawn...I read that they acted as fertilizer. But I don't know if I can keep that up...it looks a bit disheveled, which is okay in the back but doesn't do much for curb appeal. And I have been pulling out some of the old plants in the front garden. I have decided what I want to plant there and none of the current ones plants will do. Not only are they the wrong plants, but, in terms of feng shui, they are the wrong colors. I'll be planting all perrenials in a few weeks, once I'm sure the weather is back on track.
