From Bathurst take the Turondale road through Eglinton, turn right at the Bridle Track Turn Off .
From Sydney use Mudgee Road to Ilford and turn off to Sofala  , then head towards Hill End , turn left at first intersection " Bathurst , Turondale " go down the hill , cross the river and you are there !

Unqiue accommodation in a converted bus on acres with frontage to the Turon River  . The bus is named   " Miss Adventure " and has spectacular views from where it sits over looking the river . Ammentities consist of a ventilated improved composting  toilet and unique bush shower . Bus has two doubles and two singles . Kitchen inside bus with fridge , and fuel  stove . Outside is wood  fire with grill and BBQ plate .We adjoin High Country Rough Rides .
Take a horse ride from Miss Adventure along the Turon River to Sofala for a warm welcome and a cold beer ! ( about 4 hours )
We are close to Bathurst , Sofala , Hill End , Bridle Track , Turondale, Mudgee so numerous 2wd and 4wd day trips abound
Onsite you can go swimming , fishing , pan or detect for gold . Gold diggings on the property are still being worked by weekend prospectors for good returns . Wildlife abounds in the vicinity  and it is possible you will see kangaroo's, wallabies , wombats , goannas , platypus and numerous birdlife .
Suggested sites to visit : Dunns Swamp   ( canoing , swimming , fishing , bushwalking , aboriginal art sites )
Hillend , Sofala , Mudgee , Turon River National Park . Ophir , Bridle Track , Garden of Stones , Upper Turon , Wattle Flat , Windermere Dam , Chifley Dam , Macquarie River , Burrendong Dam , Newnes, Glow Worm Tunnels , Deep Pass and River Caves , Capertee Valley.
Meals are available at most localities and both Sofala and Hill End pubs are worth visiting a.nd meeting the locals . While at Hill End make sure you visit " History Hill " a excellent museum .  There are numerous other  places to see at Hill End but dont miss the view from Beaufoy Merlins Lookout where you can see one of the         " Richest Quater nd sampling their wine's .
